Keep your natural looking smile with
tooth coloured fillings and crowns

Because of natural tooth wear and decay, most people are likely to require a filling or even a crown at some point in their lives.

However, this doesn’t have to mean that the appearance of your smile has to be spoilt.

Oasis offers a range of tooth coloured fillings and crowns, so you can also have a choice of non-metal options that will be almost completely indistinguishable from your real teeth.

So, should your dentist ever recommend that you need a filling or crown, just ask about the ‘invisible’ treatment options available from Oasis.

Health Service dentistry can only provide the treatment that is necessary to protect and maintain the health of your mouth, teeth and gums. Cosmetic treatments, such as tooth coloured fillings and crowns, are therefore not normally available under the Health Service.

However, the good news is that even if you are an Health Service patient at Oasis, you can still benefit from our full range of treatment options and keep your natural looking smile. All you’d need to do is pay for your treatment privately in addition to your normal Health Service charges. Just ask your Oasis dentist for more information.

If you already have amalgam (dark metal) fillings, please note that is usually recommended that you change fillings only when your dentist decides that an old filling needs replacing. However, if this is the case, then you can ask to have it replaced in a tooth-coloured material.

Of course, the best way to keep your smile looking natural is to reduce the risk of having to have treatment by taking good care of your teeth and gums. The best way to do this is to visit your dentist regularly.

If you haven’t been to a dentist for some time, then call us today on 028 6632 3037 to make an appointment at The Elliot House Dental Practice. We are accepting new Private and Health Service patients.
